INTEC Export India Pvt. Dairy Sector in Ghana
Local dairy production in Ghana is small compared with demand, and much of the country's milk is imported. Local milk comes mainly from smallholder and pastoral herds in the northern and coastal savannah regions, and is used for fresh milk, yoghurt and the local soft cheese wagashi. Small processing units and collection points use milk cans, cooling tanks, pasteurizers and cheese vats.
